Hey! Last week I received my first VoxBox from Influenster! First off, let me explain what that is exactly.

Olay Fresh Effects {Va-Va-Vivid!} Powered Contour Cleansing System: $12.99, Olay Fresh Effects {Shine, Shine Go Away!} Shine Minimizing Cleanser: $6.99 for full size (5 oz.)- I think this is one of the items that I was most excited about. I planned on buying a cleansing system but couldn’t decide which one would work best. I immediately tried it and absolutely loved it. The best part about this system is the shape of it’s brush. It’s made to get in the hard to get area around your nose and below your eye. The first time I used it, I used the cleanser that came with it, and it left my face feeling clean and soft. It’s also not too abrasive on the skin because the brush is rubber. Because I have a lot of blackheads, I wanted to see how it worked with my Clean & Clear blackhead eraser, it really got my problem area (nose and the area around it) really well. That’s another plus about this system, you can use other moisturizers with it. That coupled with it’s size, it fits in the palm of your hand, makes it even better.

Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response: $7.99-$9.99- BEST THING EVER. I was actually looking to change antiperspirants because I found that the current one I use, and have been using for years, wasn’t getting the job done. I’ve been using Suave for years because I love the smell and the price, but unfortunately when I began to sweat, the scent of the antiperspirant would mix with the sweaty odor. But with Secret Clinical Strength (Serene citrus scent), I tried it that night after my shower, it goes on white, but pretty much disappears, it’s a solid, but it goes on like a cream. It smells absolutely AMAZING! The next day I woke up smelling the same way. I tried it again the next day and went to shower that night and the smell of the deodorant was still there. I’m sold on this one. It’s a bit pricey, especially since I’m frugal, but I honestly think it’s worth it. It gets the job done.

Skinnygirl Daily On-The-Go Bars: $9.99 per box of 5 bars- I looked forward to trying this because I love snacking on granola and cereal bars. This one is “180 calories, natural, kosher, and high in fiber.” The flavor I received was Greek Yogurt Blueberry Crisp. Before I took the first bite, I expected it to taste similar to  the Special K Meal Bars (which I like), and it didn’t. There was something about it that I just didn’t like. It was a bit tasteless to me. But the size of the bar was fairly good, for a snack it should hold you over for a while. Unfortunately it’s overpriced and bland. It’s not something that I would buy, I’ll stick to Special K, which is cheaper, 10 calories less, and tastier.

Not Your Mother’s She’s a Tease Volumizing Hair: $6.00 for full size- This is the only product that I haven’t tested. The reason being is that I wear my hair in a natural style. I will definitely give it a try when I decided to flat iron my hair again. Until then I don’t have any feedback.
