On my way home from work today I found someone’s car key on the sidewalk. I almost kept walking and left it there, but then I decided to pick it up. It had a tag on it with a number and the car model. As I kept walking I saw the car that the key belonged to, took a picture of the tag and the dealership name. I wasn’t sure where the owner lived and figured the key would be better off with me than some other person. I got home, called the dealership, and gave them the information that was on the keychain hoping that they could get in contact with the owner. About 10 mins later I got a call from the owner and told her I would bring the key to her.
Never in a million years did I think that this would lead to me getting saved on her front porch. I didn’t grow up in the church, but recently I’ve been reading my Bible and working on my relationship with God. This wasn’t a coincidence. God knew what he was doing when I stubbled across that key. I’ve had my share of highs and lows and this job hunt has drained me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Meeting Ms. Gale was something that I needed. That was a clear example of God placing people in your life for a reason. This woman that I have never met knew me better than I know myself. That was Him working on me through her. I’m so thankful for that encounter.
I would rather be what God chose to make me than the most glorious creature that I could think of; for to have been thought about, born in God’s thought, and then made by God is the dearest, grandest, and most precious thing in all thinking.
I was on Damon’s page for about 20 mins just letting “I Believe” by Mali Music play over and over. I’ve seen people mention him before but this was my first time listening. That song is absolutely beautiful.
